Kamil Jasinski and Syrian scouts in Turkey, 2018

Born in Poland, 1994. Currently based in Sopot, north of Poland.

Interested in identity. The political, geographical and religious integrity that have an influence on how we observe and react to the world. Throughout his work he would like to explore and understand its interference in everyday life. To answer questions related to today’s political decisions and rising extremism.

Currently focused on Scouting. With the inclusion of political aspects and as a catalyst – as many of us can relate to scouts he reflects on ethical value, input to the community, historical meaning, and position of scouting. But most of all to provoke reflection on contemporary issues. It is to show what drives and gathers scouts, what’s the outcome of their work. With the aim to create work with both archival and educative value.

London College of Communication Photojournalism and Documentary Photography alumni.

For the last four years engaged in international project of Polish Scouting Association and on going changes. Observing these in Polish scouting came up with an idea of portraying the movement. The man always with a big picture : therefore of the whole movement. Hopeful to create stimulating material.
